20,000 STRONG CROWD ON SECOND DAY OF KEMBARA RIUH

The Selangor edition of Kembara RIUH 2023 by MyCreative Ventures (MyCreative), an agency under the Communications and Digital Ministry (KKD), recorded over 20,000 visitors today.

MyCreative said in a statement today that the three-day Kembara RIUH 2023 is an effective platform to develop creative artists and entrepreneurs as well as to encourage youth to appreciate local arts.

“The programme has gathered over 100 creative artists and entrepreneurs to exhibit their works and services. Visitors can also enjoy various performances by unique and well-known artists, including Datuk M Nasir and groups like Hujan, Banyak Bunyik Republik, Airliftz, Astraloka Gamelan and Drum Circle,” the agency said.

KKD would always do its best to strengthen the creative industry to boost demand in the sector and increase its contribution to the economy, with a target of RM31.9 billion to the country’s Gross Domestic Product by 2025.

“With everyone’s support, especially Malaysians and youth, more creative industry players of quality and who are able to compete at the international stage can be nurtured.

“This platform is one such initiative that supports and encourages entrepreneurs, artists and creative industry players,” the agency added.
