A total of 869 multinational tourists of 21 different nationalities, of them 448 are women, on board of a cruise ship named “Viking Orion” paid a day-long visit to Cambodia.
Sailing under the flag of Norway, the 228.3-metre-long, 28.8-metre-wide and 6.65-metre-deep cruise ship docked at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port in Preah Sihanouk province this morning, according to an immigration police officer.
Most of the tourists are American (713), he pointed out, adding they visited cultural resorts, beaches and other tourist attractions in the Preah Sihanouk coastal province.
With 463 crewmembers of 41 different nationalities, of them 101 are women, the tourist ship came from Vietnam and planned to leave for Thailand this afternoon, he said.
In March this year, “Viking Orion” also visited Preah Sihanouk province with 886 tourists of 18 different nationalities on board.
