HKGCC Delegation Studying Cambodia’s Investment Climate


A delegation of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC), led by its Chairman of Asia-Africa-Middle East Committee Mr. Dewan Saiful Alam, has been visiting Cambodia to learn more about Cambodia’s investment opportunities and potential.

The delegation was received here on Monday by H.E. NUT Unvoanra, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodian Investment Board of the Council for the Development of Cambodia.

H.E. NUT Unvoanra briefed his guests about Cambodia’s resilient macroeconomic progress through gradual economic growth, manageable inflation rate, investment flow growth, stable exchange rate, and high commitment of all stakeholders for economic base diversification.

He also updated the Chinese side on investment climate to which the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has paid high attention by improving hard and soft infrastructure, which has facilitated investors in their investment in Cambodia with confidence and warmth.

For his part, Mr. Dewan Saiful Alam took note of the RGC’s efforts in business en
vironment improvement by providing facilitation, incentives and care for investors, and was happy to support and promote this among the HKGCC members.
