Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia, H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, leads a delegation to the G-77 + China Summit in Havana, Cuba, on Sept. 15-16.
President of Cuba H.E. Miguel Díaz-Canel greeted dozens of heads of State and Government, and members of High-Level delegations, at the Conference Centre in this capital, the venue of the ongoing G77+China Summit where he also delivered the opening speech, said a news release from the Embassy of Cuba in Phnom Penh.
More than 100 delegations from member countries of the bloc and officials from international organisations are attending the forum to discuss political and economic issues relevant to developing countries, it pointed out.
The G77+China is the most diverse grouping in the multilateral sphere and has 134 member states, which account for two-thirds of the United Nations membership and 80 percent of the world’s population, the source added.
The G77+China Summit will conclude on Saturday, Sept. 16.
