COA, JETRO Vow to Strengthen Business and Investment Cooperation

The Cambodian Oknha Association (COA) and the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) are committed to further boosting their bilateral cooperation in business and investment in Cambodia.

The commitment was made during a courtesy meeting between a delegation led by COA President Oknha Ly Yong Phat and the JETRO team led by Ms. Mio Kawada, JETRO Executive Vice President, in Phnom Penh on Aug. 7.

Oknha Ly Yong Phat said that Japan is a country with a thriving economy, and Japanese investors have contributed significantly to trade and investment in Cambodia.

The COA welcomes more investments from Japan to contribute to the socio-economic development and sustainable growth of Cambodia.

Ms. Mio Kawada appreciated the meeting between COA and JETRO, considering it an important opportunity to promote Cambodia to the Japanese business community, as more and more Japanese investors are interested in Cambodia.
