‘Coach Che’ leads Thai youth kickers to compete in the World Championship in South Korea


Coach Che’ Chatchai Che leads 16 young Thai kickers to compete in the 2024 World Youth Taekwondo Championships in Chuncheon, South Korea.

At Suvarnabhumi International Airport last midnight, “Coach Che” Chatchai Che, head coach of the Thai national taekwondo team, led a team of 16 Thai youth kickers, divided into 8 men and 8 women, to compete in the 2024 Chuncheon 2024 World Taekwondo Junior Championships in Chuncheon, South Korea, with family and friends coming to send them off and give them warm support.

Coach Che said before the trip that this youth team had been training for a long time. Everyone has experience from the Korea Open International Championship 2024 in Chuncheon in July. They are ready to compete. He emphasized that everyone should do their best and not be pressured. The scary competitors are still South Korea, China, and Taiwan. The goal is at least 1 gold medal.

The latest news is that 16 young Thai kickboxers have arrived in Chuncheon, South Korea. After arriving, the Thai youth taekwo
ndo team traveled by bus to Chuncheon, which took about 2 hours, before checking into the Jackson 9 Hotel. Coach Che allowed the athletes to rest as they wish before starting their first practice this evening (27 Sept.)
