First Vice President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia H.E. Kitti Setha Pundit Cheam Yeap received here at the NA Palace this mooring a visiting delegation of Lao NA led by H.E. Khamchanh Sotapaserth, a Member of the Standing Committee and Chairman of the Ethnic Affairs Committee.

On the occasion, H.E. Cheam Yeap informed his guests on Cambodia’s geopolitical, economic and social situation, especially the achievements of the state institutions, as well as those of the Cambodian NA’s 7th legislature in fulfilling its roles and duties in the past five months.

For his part, H.E. Khamchanh Sotapaserth informed H.E. Cheam Yeap of his visit to Cambodia, the purpose of which is to further strengthen the friendship, solidarity and cooperation in all domains, particularly between the two legislative bodies.

Moreover, he lauded the Royal Government of Cambodia’s leadership in bringing about more progress to the country in all domains.

In the same morning, the Lao NA delegation also met with the Cambodian N
A’s Commission on Education, Youth, Sports, Cults, Religious Affairs, Culture, Fine Arts and Tourism, headed by its Chairman H.E. Pa Socheatevong.

H.E. Khamchanh Sotapaserth and his delegation arrived in Cambodia on Feb. 25 for a five-day official visit.
