Palace bares list of new PBBM appointees


MANILA: Malacañang on Tuesday released the names of new appointees of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in various government departments and offices, including the Office of the President (OP)

The list of newly appointed officials was posted on the official Facebook page of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).

Based on the list, Felix Castro Jr. was named as assistant sectretary of the OP. Prior to his new designation, he served as presidential assistant for Marawi rehabilitation, also holding the rank of an assistant secretary.

Marcos also tapped Cris Tenorio as Director IV at the OP’s Asset Management Office, as well as Julius Leonen and Adrian Bautista as Director II and Director III, respectively, at the PCO.

Christian Tan Aguado and Reggie Cruz were appointed as part-time commissioners of the Commission on the Filipino Language.

Aguado will represent the languages of the southern cultural communities, while Cruz will serve as representative of the Pampanga language.

trice Go as National Youth Commission commissioner, representing Mindanao; Ernesto Severino as member of the Philippine Postal Corporation’s Board of Directors; Manuel Plaza III as member of the Games and Amusement Board; and Gregorio Pastorfide as member of the University of the Philippines’ Board of Regents.

In the Department of Finance, new appointees were Joven Balbosa as Undersecretary; Gerald Alan Quebral as Assistant Secretary; and Cherry Mae Gonzales and Donalyn Minimo, both as Director IV.

The list of new appointments also showed that Rizalino Jose Torralba will serve as Collector of Customs VI at the Bureau of Customs, while Sharon Almanza is the new national treasurer at the Bureau of the Treasury.

Lynna Joy Cardinal was designated provincial trade and industry officer at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), while Reymundo de Guzman will serve as Executive Director II at the Department of Transportation’s Office of Transportation Cooperatives.

In the DTI’s Philippine Foreign Trade Servic
e Corps, Mario Tani was appointed as Foreign Trade Service Officer II; Anthony Rivera as Foreign Trade Service Officer III; Rudolph Jay Velasco as Foreign Trade Service Officer IV; and Althea Karen Antonio, Alma Argayoso, and May Niña Celynne Layug as Special Trade Representatives.

Marcos also named his new appointees at the Department of Information and Communications Technology, including Sittie Rahma Alawi, Jimmicio Daoaten, and Reynaldo Sy as Directors IV and Jhino Ilano as Director III.
