PM Anwar Expresses Appreciation For Outgoing KSN Mohd Zuki

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed his appreciation for the service and dedication of Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali, who retired as Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN) today.

Anwar, in a Facebook post, prayed for Mohd Zuki’s continued success and blessings in life.

“To Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali, who officially retires as KSN and a civil servant tomorrow, I express my gratitude for the service and dedication rendered in public service over the past 32 years.

“Thank you, may you continue to succeed in the next chapter of your life and be blessed by the Almighty,” he said.

Mohd Zuki, 62, began his tenure as KSN on Dec 31, 2019, and was reappointed on a two-year contract from Aug 11, 2022, until Aug 10, 2024.

On Wednesday, the Prime Minister’s Office announced in a statement that the director-general of the Public-Private Partnership Unit (UKAS) under the Prime Minister’s Department (JPM), Datuk Seri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, had been appointed as the new KSN, effective Aug 12.

Meanwhile, in the s
ame post, the Prime Minister also wished Shamsul Azri well in his new role.

“May the government’s policies continue to be implemented efficiently and effectively, contributing to the nation’s development and success,” he said.

Shamsul Azri, 55, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States.

He has also received exposure at several international institutions, including the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, and INSEAD (European Institute of Business Administration).

Shamsul Azri has 30 years of experience in public service, having served at the Ministry of Finance, the Public Service Department, and state government administration.
